About KBO Hire
The yard behind the lifts
A family-run plant and crane hire yard on Circular Road in Moneymore, right in the middle of Northern Ireland. More than a decade supplying cranes, and one phone number for the whole fleet.
Who we are
One number gets you the whole yard
KBO Hire started with cranes, and cranes are still the heart of the business: ten all-terrains from 35 to 300 tonnes, on sites in Belfast, Down and Armagh most weeks, and the south of Ireland when the job calls for it.
Around the cranes we built the rest of what a site needs. Excavators from 1 to 9 tonnes, dumpers from 1 to 9, Genie and JLG powered access, twenty telescopic handlers including five new 360° rotating teleporters, forklifts up to 7T, lighting towers and rollers up to 13T. All of it goes out on our own low loader, and comes back the same way.
This is big plant, not DIY kit. We hire to main contractors, groundworkers, civils, steel erectors and farm businesses. Ring the yard and you talk to the people who own the machines.
